Photo Requirements
The better the image the better the
crystal will turn out!
A digital image from scanned pictures or from a digital
camera should be of an appropriate resolution and clarity
for printing. Image files that are too small (low
resolution) may yield a print that appears grainy, cloudy or
pixilated.
We recommend that scanned images or digital files have the
equivalent of 200 to 400 dpi (Dots Per Inch).
Generally, any photo taken in regular mode or better with
any modern camera will work great. No re-sizing or
cropping of files is necessary.
The most common size that you will see on the web and that
many images programs will automatically use is 72 dpi.
These will not provide the same
high quality image that a 300 dpi image has.
